Alpha Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Decorator for a reputable Construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services on our clients new build apartment site. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the project is completed to a high standard within specified deadlines. The Contract Decorator will be expected to prepare surfaces, apply mist coats, paints and finishes, and make sure all work complies with safety and quality standards. Experience in a range of decorating techniques and good knowledge of materials and tools used on site are essential for this position.
Start Date - 08/06/2026
- Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator in construction projects
- Ability to prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to decorating work
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship
- Ability to interpret project specifications and work independently
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Blue CSCS/Painting and Decorating NVQ
- 5 Years experience minimum
- 2x Checkable references
