Alpha Labour & Recruitment is looking to recruit two Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our growing Sheffield team.
With over 18 years of success and an annual turnover exceeding £20 million, we are one of the UK's leading suppliers of blue- and white-collar personnel to the construction, engineering, and industrial sectors.
No recruitment experience is required. We are looking for individuals with drive, personality, and a desire to build a successful career.
The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will receive full training and support whilst learning how to:
• Source and recruit candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies
• Build relationships with clients across the construction and industrial sectors
• Generate new business opportunities through sales activity
• Advertise vacancies and attract quality candidates
• Interview and register workers
• Manage bookings and placements
• Negotiate rates with clients and candidates
• Attend client meetings and construction sites
• Develop your own client portfolio and candidate network
What We're Looking For
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, hospitality, estate agency, or another target driven environment would be advantageous
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Competitive and self-motivated attitude
• Confidence speaking on the telephone
• Positive mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and determination to succeed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
